  • Author: Sarah
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders 1x

Description

Juicy, cheesy beef sliders baked on a sheet pan with buttery golden buns. Perfect for watch parties, game day gatherings, and make-ahead entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian-style preferred)
  • 12 slices cheddar or American cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Caramelized onions (optional)
  • Burger sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, diced onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Press the beef mixture into an even layer on the prepared sheet pan, matching the size of the slider buns.
  4. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the beef reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  5. Drain excess fat from the pan.
  6. Lay cheese slices over the hot beef and let them melt for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms connected.
  8. Brush the bottom buns with melted butter and lightly toast if desired.
  9. Cut the beef-and-cheese slab to fit the buns and place it on the bottom layer.
  10. Add optional toppings such as pickles, caramelized onions, or burger sauce.
  11. Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  12. Place the tops on the sliders and return the tray to the oven for 5-7 minutes until warm and lightly golden.
  13. Slice into individual sliders and serve immediately.

Notes

These sliders can be fully assembled several hours ahead and refrigerated until ready to bake. Reheat leftovers covered in a low oven to keep the buns soft.
