Description
This Zero Carb Yogurt Bread is soft, moist, and perfectly satisfying for anyone following a low-carb or keto lifestyle. Made with simple pantry ingredients, it’s gluten-free, high in protein, and bakes up with a lovely golden crust.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat, unsweetened)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for moisture)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly with olive oil.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt and eggs until smooth and creamy.
- Add the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until the batter is thick but uniform.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing. This helps it firm up and prevents crumbling.
Notes
Use full-fat Greek yogurt for best texture. Add herbs, shredded cheese, or garlic powder for a savory twist. For a sweet version, mix in vanilla extract and sugar-free sweetener.
