Description
This ranch water recipe is a crisp, refreshing Texas sparkling drink made with fresh lime juice, sparkling mineral water, and optional tequila. Light, citrusy, and incredibly simple, it’s perfect for summer gatherings or quick entertaining.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1–2 oz tequila (optional for classic version)
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 3–4 oz sparkling mineral water
- Ice cubes (large preferred)
- Lime wedge for garnish (optional)
- Tiny pinch of sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Chill all ingredients before mixing.
- Fill a highball glass with large ice cubes.
- Pour fresh lime juice over the ice.
- Add tequila if making the classic version.
- Top slowly with sparkling mineral water to preserve carbonation.
- Stir gently once to combine.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and serve immediately.
Notes
Use freshly squeezed lime juice for the brightest flavor. Avoid over stirring to keep the bubbles strong. Serve immediately for the crispest texture. For an alcohol-free version, simply omit the tequila and add a splash of grapefruit or orange juice if desired.
