Description

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/3 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup crumbled feta
  • 1/2 cup ricotta (optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

  1. Mix warm water, warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Rest 10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Let rise 1 hour in a warm place.
  4. Shape dough into an oval, roll edges inward, and form the classic “boat” shape.
  5. Mix mozzarella, feta, and ricotta. Fill the center.
  6. Bake at 480°F (250°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden.
  7. Add butter + egg yolk, bake 1–2 more minutes.
  8. Serve hot for the perfect cheese pull.

Notes

Use full-fat cheese for the best melt.
Bake on a pizza stone for extra crisp edges.
