A cozy, farmhouse-style cranberry sauce inspired by Joanna Gaines — sweet, tart, rustic, and perfect for Christmas dinner or festive charcuterie boards.

- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 1 orange (zest and juice)
- 1/3 cup sugar, honey, or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: pinch of nutmeg
- Optional: orange peel curls for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, water, cinnamon, and sweetener. Simmer over medium heat until cranberries begin to burst.
- Use a wooden spoon to crush some of the berries, leaving some whole for rustic texture.
- Stir in orange zest, vanilla, and optional nutmeg. Simmer for 8–10 minutes until thickened.
- Let cool completely. Serve warm or chilled with your favorite holiday dishes.
Notes
Store in the fridge for up to 7 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Serve with turkey, ham, roasted chicken, biscuits, or on a holiday cheese board.
