These Greek yogurt garlic breadsticks are soft, flavorful, and ready in under 30 minutes. With high protein and no yeast, they’re the perfect healthier alternative to traditional breadsticks—easy, quick, and totally customizable.

- 1 cup Greek yogurt (non-fat or full-fat)
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil (for brushing)
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional, mozzarella or Parmesan)
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (optional, oregano, parsley, or Italian seasoning)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt and self-rising flour. Mix until a soft dough forms. Add more flour if needed to reduce stickiness.
- Lightly flour a surface and knead the dough for 2 minutes until smooth. Roll into a log and divide into 6–8 equal pieces. Shape each into breadsticks.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and salt. Brush over each breadstick.
- Top with optional shredded cheese or herbs.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place breadsticks with space between them.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown. Broil an extra minute for a crisp finish if desired.
- Cool slightly and serve warm with your favorite dips or soups.
Notes
Make it vegan by using plant-based yogurt and vegan cheese. For gluten-free, use GF self-rising flour. Try sweet versions with cinnamon and sugar for a dessert twist!
