Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh carrots (organic if possible)
  • 1 large orange, peeled
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • Ice (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Scrub the carrots under cold water. No need to peel unless preferred.
  2. Chop carrots into chunks that fit your juicer.
  3. Peel the orange and ginger. Use a spoon to scrape ginger skin easily.
  4. Run carrots, orange, and ginger through your juicer.
  5. Stir in lemon juice to brighten flavor and help preserve color.
  6. Serve immediately over ice, if desired.

Notes
