- 2 lbs fresh carrots (organic if possible)
- 1 large orange, peeled
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- Ice (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Scrub the carrots under cold water. No need to peel unless preferred.
- Chop carrots into chunks that fit your juicer.
- Peel the orange and ginger. Use a spoon to scrape ginger skin easily.
- Run carrots, orange, and ginger through your juicer.
- Stir in lemon juice to brighten flavor and help preserve color.
- Serve immediately over ice, if desired.
Notes
For a greens boost, add a handful of spinach or kale. For sweetness, toss in a small apple or beet. A spicy kick? Add a pinch of cayenne or turmeric. No juicer? Blend ingredients with water and strain through a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve.
