Description
These crispy cinnamon sugar banana chips are the perfect healthy snacks for kids — easy enough for busy weekdays and sweet enough to feel like a treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 large ripe but firm bananas
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp avocado oil or melted coconut oil
- Optional: pinch of salt
Instructions
- Peel the bananas and slice them into 1/8- to 1/4-inch rounds.
- Toss the slices in a bowl with oil until lightly coated.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small dish and sprinkle over the banana slices.
- Preheat your air fryer to 330°F and line the basket with parchment or lightly oil the tray.
- Arrange banana slices in a single layer. Air fry 8–10 minutes, flip, then cook another 6–10 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Let the chips cool completely. They will crisp up as they cool.
Notes
For a fun twist, try adding cocoa powder or pumpkin spice instead of cinnamon. These make great school snacks or healthy party treats!
