Ingredients

- 2 cups almonds
- 1½ cups sugar
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup water
- 2 egg whites
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Heat sugar mixture (sugar, honey, water) to 250°F.
- Whip egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Slowly stream hot syrup into egg whites while beating.
- Fold in almonds gently.
- Pour mixture into prepared pan and let set.
- Once firm, slice into pieces.
Notes
Best sliced with an oiled knife. Stores well, making it a great homemade gift!
