  • Author: Sarah
  • Total Time: 4 hours
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Light, easy to digest, and doctor-recommended, this pink gelatin is perfect for the early post-op and liquid reset phases of the bariatric journey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sugar-free pink gelatin packet (0.3 oz)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • Pinch of pink Himalayan salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour boiling water into a heat-safe bowl.
  2. Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the hot water and stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Add cold water and mix gently.
  4. Optional: stir in a tiny pinch of pink salt for electrolyte balance.
  5. Refrigerate for 2–4 hours until fully set.

Notes

For added protein, dissolve unflavored collagen peptides into the hot water before adding gelatin. Try flavor swaps like cherry or strawberry. Use silicone molds for portion control. Replace water with approved clear protein water if cleared by your surgeon.
