- ⅓ cup sugar
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Peel, core, and dice apples into small cubes. Toss with a touch of cinnamon.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together egg, sugar, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined, then fold in the apples.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the baking sheet, spaced apart.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and puffed.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm fritters. Optional: glaze again once set for a thicker topping.
