Description

These viral Easy Puff Pastry Apple Roses are as beautiful as they are simple — with just a few ingredients, you’ll have an elegant dessert that’s perfect for winter baking or Valentine’s Day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 apples (Honeycrisp or Pink Lady)
  • 2 tbsp sugar or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice apples very thin. Microwave 1–2 minutes to soften.
  3. Mix sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Cut puff pastry into long strips.
  5. Line apple slices along the strip, overlapping slightly.
  6. Fold bottom of the pastry upward.
  7. Roll into a rose shape and place in a muffin tin.
  8. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden.

Notes

Microwave apples until bendable to prevent cracking. Brush pastry with apricot jam for shine and dust with powdered sugar for a bakery-style finish.
