- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 apples (Honeycrisp or Pink Lady)
- 2 tbsp sugar or brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice apples very thin. Microwave 1–2 minutes to soften.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon.
- Cut puff pastry into long strips.
- Line apple slices along the strip, overlapping slightly.
- Fold bottom of the pastry upward.
- Roll into a rose shape and place in a muffin tin.
- Bake 35–40 minutes until golden.
Notes
Microwave apples until bendable to prevent cracking. Brush pastry with apricot jam for shine and dust with powdered sugar for a bakery-style finish.
