- 1 can (20 oz) apple pie filling, or homemade
- ½ cup butter (1 stick)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Optional: whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spoon apple pie filling evenly into each tortilla, roll up tightly, and place seam-side down in the baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in granulated sugar, brown sugar, water, and cinnamon.
- Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Pour the cinnamon-sugar sauce evenly over the enchiladas.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
- Cool slightly, then serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
