Description

These apple pie crescent rolls deliver everything you love about classic apple pie, wrapped in flaky crescent dough and baked until golden.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 large Granny Smith apples, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
  • Optional: powdered sugar for finishing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Lay them flat with the wide end facing you.
  3. Brush each triangle lightly with melted butter.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over each dough triangle.
  5. Add a few apple slices near the wide edge of each triangle. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  6. Starting at the wide end, roll the dough toward the tip, enclosing the apple filling.
  7. Place on the baking sheet, leaving space between each roll.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown and lightly crisp.

Notes

Use thin apple slices so they soften fully during baking. Add a pinch of nutmeg for deeper flavor. Drizzle with icing or caramel if desired. Swap pecans for walnuts or omit for nut-free. Best served warm with ice cream or coffee.
