- Honey
Instructions
- Toast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden and fragrant.
- In a saucepan, heat the honey over low heat until it begins to bubble.
- Add the toasted sesame seeds to the honey and stir to combine.
- Continue to cook for a few minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Pour the mixture onto a parchment-lined tray and flatten with a spatula.
- Let cool completely before cutting into 12 pieces.
Notes
For best texture, use equal parts sesame seeds and honey. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
